Lynn de Souza is a multi faceted media personality. A national tennis champ, who followed up her MBA in Marketing with a 25 year career in advertising media, working for Ogilvy, Grey and Lintas, she is one of the most influential women in the country featuring regularly in the power lists of top media titles for several years. She is also a prolific writer and public speaker.

A brief sabbatical to study veterinary nursing in Australia in 1998 was followed by a five year stint in charge of integrated marketing, healthcare and knowledge management functions in Lintas, during which time she joined the animal welfare movement as a trainer and volunteer, and built a veterinary hospital and shelter on her ancestral land in Goa. Besides animal welfare, Lynn is also actively involved in the upliftment of girls and women in India, and has founded and chaired the Women's Leadership Network for Interpublic Group in India.

She has served on the boards of several industry non-profits and is presently the Vice Chairman of the Media Research Users Council and Chairman of the Readership Studies Council of India that publish the world's largest media survey every quarter. She chairs the Goa SPCA and sits on the board of FIAPO, the Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations. She concluded her advertising career in 2012 after a four year term as the Chairman and CEO of Lintas Media Group, in order to focus her energies on driving social reform through the power of communications and the resources of the corporate sector.

A recipient of several awards for performance excellence, humanitarianism, and contribution to the growth of the advertising industry, Lynn staunchly maintains that her most cherished award is a grateful smile, or a lick!, and that her best is yet to come.
