The experiences learned from such collaboration has further positioned Johnny into taking on the role of a facilitator. The team eventually produced a comics anthology that was widely distributed in 36 countries. The success of this pilot program has prompted a deeper collaborative spirits among the Asian and European storytellers and comics artists in terms of cross-cultural exchange and understanding.

Immediately after, Johnny was employed by the Singapore government to manage an incubation program for the creative industries. He personally selected 33 startup companies that ranges from photography, film, fashion to traditional Chinese music to collaborate on various projects. As a result, the incubation had spawned many unexpected output and outcome from the collective companies.

Graduated from the University of Southern California in Architecture, Johnny followed his passion in publishing & design and started his own studio doing creative projects during the 1990s. Cross-disciplinary concepts and projects have always been integral to everything Johnny has done. He is currently the creative director for a Singapore based hotel; an affiliated director with a Japanese animation company; as well as an associate producer for a mega musical that is currently being produced locally.
